Batch Coagulation
The coagulation separation process begins by mixing in a coagulant polymer in
order to neutralize any electrical charges in the contaminants you are looking to
remove, so that they will draw together and form small clusters called "pin
flock".
If larger clusters are wanted in order to help speed the process up a flocculent
polymer is added to draw the pin flock together into large clusters. The clusters
settle to the bottom and are then removed.
